Through Dream Foundation Rebecca Akroyd Takes Part in Giving Coast Guard Veteran His Final Wish

Sacramento | June 5, 2014

On June 2, 2014, Kronick attorney Rebecca Akroyd was honored to volunteer as an ambassador for the Dream Foundation to give a Coast Guard veteran his final wish. Through the Dream Foundation, Ms. Akroyd participated in the presentation of granting 87-year-old Sacramento resident Milton Hunter’s dream, which was a trip to Seattle to relive and share memories of visits with his late wife with their daughter in hopes that it would help bring her some peace. Milton Hunter is battling lung cancer and has received a prognosis of fewer than three months.

Kronick Fundraising Campaign a Huge Success: Raised More Than $8500 Dollars for the American Heart Association

Kronick employees, lead by a group of enthusiastic team captains, came together in an impressive showing of company spirit to help raise money for the American Heart Association (AHA).  The firm’s fundraising campaign, which ultimately raised $8576 for the AHA, featured a fun mix of activities that took place throughout the weeks leading up to the Association’s annual Community Heart Walk on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at William Land Park.

Kronick Employees Team Up For 20th Annual Doggy Dash

Animal enthusiasts from Kronick gathered with their canine companions at William Land Park on June 8 for the 20th annual Doggy Dash and Bark at the Park Festival.  More than 20 employees/friends/family members participated in the annual dog-themed walk, which raises funds for animals sheltered at the Sacramento SPCA.  It’s an event near and dear to many Kronick employees, as well as animal lovers throughout the Sacramento region.

Baranoff once again had the privilege of attending a meeting of the White House Business Council in Washington DC where business leaders met with senior administration officials for an interactive dialogue centered around President Obama’s agenda concerning the federal budget and avoiding the fiscal cliff.  Discussions during the December 6, 2012 forum also focused on macroeconomics, tax policy and strategies for improving the nation’s economic competitiveness and innovation.
