This seminar will address how employers should handle paid time off, vacation accruals, how to put caps on accruals, vacation vesting, what to do with paid time off when an employee leaves and the new sick leave law. Learn who qualifies for paid sick leave, what policies you need in place now, what paid sick time can be used for, and how this new law effects employers who already provide some type of paid time off. Under California law, earned vacation time is considered wages, which poses risks for employers when it is not properly paid.
