Sacramento, CA | March 18, 2011

KMTG attorney and Kern County Bar Association (KCBA) President Brett L. Price together with June D. Coleman, President-elect for the Sacramento County Bar Association (SCBA), attended this year's ABA Bar Leadership Institute (BLI) in Chicago. Sponsored by the ABA Standing Committee on Bar Activities and Services and the Division for Bar Services, the ABA Bar Leadership Institute is the premier program for bar association leaders. The program features a variety of substantive courses in bar leadership and management and attracts Presidents, President-elects and Executive Directors of bar associations large and small from around the country.

As President of the KCBA, Price oversees many of the Bar's operations, programs and events and represents the Bar in public, with the judiciary, and in bar governance issues. As President, Price is pleased to be working alongside a talented and dedicated team of board members, officers, section leaders and staff in bringing events, programs and activities for the benefit of members and the Bakersfield community.

June D. Coleman in her role as President-elect for the SCBA is involved in a variety of Bar activities, including addressing the Task Force on the Governance of the Bar, chairing the Bench Bar Reception and working with the indigent defense panel and the judicial evalutation committee. Coleman is also working with other members of the executive committee on finalizing a long range plan for the SCBA.
