KMTG Shareholder and Public Finance Attorney Constantine C. Baranoff once again had the privilege of attending a meeting of the White House Business Council in Washington DC where business leaders met with senior administration officials for an interactive dialogue centered around President Obama’s agenda concerning the federal budget and avoiding the fiscal cliff.  Discussions during the December 6, 2012 forum also focused on macroeconomics, tax policy and strategies for improving the nation’s economic competitiveness and innovation. 

KMTG education law attorney, Sally Jensen Dutcher, had the privledge of participating in the Napa County Office of Education's "Principal for a Day" program on Thursday, October 4, 2012. She spent the day at Robert Louis Stevenson Middle School in the St. Helena Unified School District shadowing principal Mary Allen.

Once again, several KMTG litigation attorneys had the privilege of participating in the national “Open Doors to Federal Courts” program for the Sacramento Courthouse. Sponsored by the U.S. District Court Eastern District of California and hosted by federal judges and local attorneys, the program invites local high school students into the courtroom to participate in true-to-life courtroom simulations that center on issues important to teens.

Kronick Moskovitz Tiedemann & Girard (KMTG) hosted a Charity Event and Open House Reception on September 23, 2010 at the firm’s Sacramento Office to raise awareness of and funding for The FUTURE Foundation of Sacramento, which is a non-profit organization that provides scholarships and mentoring to high school students.

Kronick Moskovitz Tiedemann & Girard is proud to be one of 20 sponsor hosts for the 2007 Summerbridge Career Day. On July 20, KMTG hosted a group of middle-school students from low-income schools for a half day, where the students got the opportunity to visit KMTG professionals in their work setting and explore different career options. The career day is part of Summerbridge’s intense six week academic, social, career and college-knowledge enrichment summer program taught on the Country Day campus.

Kronick Moskovitz attorneys and staff “raced for the cure” last Saturday, May 12 to show support of, honor the memory of or celebrate the lives of women affected by breast cancer in the 2007 Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure®. This year’s race also celebrated the national 25th Anniversary of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.

KMTG education attorney, Michelle L. Cannon, participated in the Roseville Chamber of Commerce’s 21st Annual “Principal for a Day” program on Tuesday, October 4, 2011. She shadowed Sargeant Elementary School Principal Teri Seaman for the day, meeting and interacting with the staff and students.

Kronick Moskovitz Tiedemann & Girard was a proud sponsor of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation’s (JDRF) 12th annual gala and auction, Passport to a Cure, held on March 29, 2008 at the Hyatt Regency, Sacramento. Passport to a Cure is one of JDRF’s largest fundraisers. This year's event, with the support of local businesses and the community, raised over $420,000 for diabetes research.

KMTG is a proud sponsor of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation’s 11th annual gala and auction, Passport to a Cure, to be held on March 17, 2007 at the Hyatt Regency, Sacramento. The event is one of JDRF’s largest fundraisers. Their goal this year is to raise $250,000 in support of diabetes research.
