Litigator Maggie Stern Joins KMTG's Public Agency Practice Group

Sacramento | October 19, 2012

KMTG is pleased to announce that Maggie W. Stern has joined the firm’s Public Agency Practice Group.  Maggie will work out of the firm’s Sacramento headquarters and provide litigation support and general municipal law advice and counsel to the firm’s municipal clients, as well as special districts throughout the State.

Maggie comes from the Oakland City Attorney’s Office where she managed cases involving general public nuisance, drug nuisance, the Red light Abatement Act, and cases involving local housing code and zoning violations.  Her previous experience also includes working with the City of Richmond Police Department prosecuting quality-of-life civil code violations and medical marijuana dispensary zoning violations.  Maggie's background in nuisance abatement litigation and code enforcement, coupled with her client-side perspective, will provide great value to our clients in need of her expertise.

Maggie earned her J.D. from Golden Gate University and holds a M.A. in Public Administration.

Welcome to the firm Maggie.
