Leslie Z. Walker Joins Well-Respected Public Agency Group

KMTG is pleased to announce that Leslie Z. Walker has joined the firm’s Public Agency Group and will work out of the firm's Sacramento headquarters.  In practice since 2007, Leslie brings considerable experience representing and defending both public and private clients, including cities, counties, special districts, developers and agricultural land owners in matters relating to land use entitlements, planning and zoning law, California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and other environmental statutes and regulations.

Leslie is a frequent presenter on CEQA and land use matters and closely follows the development of CEQA guidelines for greenhouse gas emissions and other state and federal laws as they relate to climate change.  Her experience and emphasis in this prevalent area of law compliments the firm's expanding practice and its distinguished roster of clients throughout the State.

Leslie earned her J.D. from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law.  Prior to law school, Leslie worked for five years at the San Diego Association of Governments conducting demographic research for a variety of environmental and planning programs, including general plans and housing elements.

Welcome to the firm Leslie.
