KMTG is Pleased to Announce the Advancement of Four Associates to Principal Attorney

Amara Harrell, a member of the firm's public agency and business services practice groups, represents both public and private sector clients in a wide range of commercial and residential real estate transactions, land use matters and construction law litigation. She also represents financial institutions in the areas of loan documentation, loan workouts and debt collection. Amara earned her JD from Golden Gate University in 2000. Prior to practicing in California, Amara practiced for 5+ years at a real estate and construction firm in Honalulu Hawaii.
Mona Ebrahimi, a member of the firm's public agency practice group, provides general legal counsel and advice to cities, special districts and other public entities on a broad range of public law matters. She currently serves as General Counsel to the Fulton-El Camino Recreation and Park District and the Dixon-Solano Water Authority. She also serves as the Assistant City Attorney for the Cities of West Sacramento and Lincoln, and Assistant Town Attorney for the Town of Loomis. Mona earned her JD from California Western School of Law in San Diego in 2004 and is a certified mediator.
Kristianne Seargeant, a member of the firm's labor and employment practice group, represents both private and public employers, including the State of California, in employment litigation, collective bargaining, arbitrations and administrative agency appeals. She also provides in-house training, workplace investigations and general advice and counsel on a full range of labor and emloyment issues. Kristianne earned her JD from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 2006. Prior to practicing law, Kristianne was a Battalion Chief for the Sacramento Fire Department.
Hanspeter Walter, a member of the firm's water and natural resources practice group, represents water districts and private entities primarily in the areas of regulatory compliance, water rights, water quality and other land-use matters. His specific areas of experience include, the Endangered Species Act, CEQA and NEPA, the Clean Water Act, water supply assessments and verifications, urban water management plans and regulatory permits. Hanspeter earned his JD from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 2006. Prior to and awhile attending law school, Hanspeter worked as an Environmental Scientist for the California Department of Water Resources.
