Christine Cohn Joins Kronick's Health Care Practice

Kronick continues to expand its health care practice with the addition of Christine Cohn, a regulatory and transactional attorney whose practice is dedicated to assisting health care providers. Ms. Cohn’s practice emphasizes regulatory compliance, licensing and certification, and provider payment/reimbursement matters. She has substantial experience in negotiating managed care agreements and regularly assists clients in structuring business arrangements and transactions for compliance with physician self-referral laws (including Stark), the federal anti-kickback statute and other fraud abuse laws. She also provides advice and counsel regarding hospital-physician alignment strategies and clinical integration arrangements. Ms. Cohn’s clients have included physicians, IPA’s, hospitals, surgery centers, home health agencies and clinical laboratories. She graduated from the UCLA School of Law and also has a Master of Science in Public Health from UCLA. Working with Lawrence Garcia, Ms. Cohn will support and help grow Kronick’s existing practice, which encompasses the counseling and representation of clients in highly regulated business environments with a heavy concentration in providing support for healthcare providers, senior living providers, nonprofit corporations and small businesses.
