Seminar Overview:

Learn how the U.S. Department of Labor's new FMLA regulations affect you as an employer. This seminar will highlight the impact of the new DOL regulations and its significant changes, including:

  • New definition of "serious health condition"

  • New notification requirements for employers

  • New notification requirements for employees

  • Revised criteria for employee eligibility

  • Clarification of requirements for medical certification

This seminar will also provide you with tips on how to navigate the complicated maze of FMLA, CFRA, PDL, ADA, PFl and workers' compensation leave. You will also learn more about your legal rights and obligations regarding other kinds of leaves provided by state and federal law.
