Program Overview:

Kronick is pleased to sponsor the 2017 League of California Cities Annual Conference & Expo at the Sacramento Convention Center. The conference expects 1,800+ city officials from throughout California to discuss timely topics and quality content. To name a few, developing session topics include:

  • How cities can embrace innovation,
  • Avoiding code enforcement and safety disasters,
  • Strategies to address OPEB and pension costs,
  • Prop. 64 grant information, and
  • Using partnerships to address hunger, homelessness & support positive youth outcomes.

Kronick Shareholder David Tyra will present Understanding the Rapidly Shifting Landscape of Healthcare Obligations to the City Attorney track on Thursday at 4:15pm. 

Magie Stern will participate in a panel that will discuss ethics laws and principles, Understanding Public Service Ethics Laws and Principles (AB 1234 Training). State law requires elected and appointed officials to receive two hours of training in specified ethics laws and principles every two years. Newly elected and appointed officials must receive this training within one year of becoming a public servant. This will take place on Wednesday, September 13th from 9:00-11:00 am.
