See how Oakland Unified School District, with community support and involvement,is implementing Net Zero Energy at an urban high school campus to provide on-site energy production for the school. See how Evergreen School District continues to increase high performance at their middle school campus by aiming for Net Zero Water in addition to the existing Net Zero Energy Administration building – the first Net Zero Energy/Emission public school building in California.

This session will also look closely at the legal and financial challenges of Net Zero Energy and Water, how these can be overcome and how Net Zero connects to improving curriculum, increasing community involvement, and solving budget issues.
