Fulton-El Camino Recreation and Park District Selects KMTG as General Counsel

KMTG is pleased to announce its recent appointment as general counsel to the Fulton-El Camino Recreation and Park District. Public Agency attorney, Mona G. Ebrahimi, will serve as the general counsel lead, with Labor and Employment attorney, Ronald J. Scholar, serving as the lead in all personnel matters.

KMTG serves as general and special counsel to more than 150 public agencies, including numerous special districts, throughout California.

Mona G. Ebrahimi provides general counsel services to public sector clients in a broad range of municipal and public law matters, including public contracting, the Brown Act, Public Records Act laws, election law, conflicts of interest, affordable housing, land use, CEQA and NEPA, Pitchess, code enforcement, drafting and negotiating agreements, and drafting ordinances and resolutions. Ms. Ebrahimi is also a certified mediator experienced in alternative dispute resolution, offering clients a cost-effective, non-litigation option for resolving conflicts.

Ronald J. Scholar represents public agencies, as well as private sector employers, in all areas of labor and employment law, civil rights, and employment litigation. Mr. Scholar has substantial experience in matters involving discrimination claims involving age, race, gender, disability, and religion; harassment claims involving sexual harassment, hostile work environment, and retaliation; wrongful terminations; employee privacy; disciplinary proceedings; and civil rights. Mr. Scholar also conducts independent employment related investigations and trainings.

Fulton-El Camino (Est. 1956) provides recreational facilities and services to area residents of Sacramento County. Currently the District is comprised of 80 acres of developed parkland and two undeveloped acres.
